To help get acclimated to the cabinet area, new hires are invited to attend one of our half-day SEWB New Hire Orientation sessions. These sessions are purposefully curated to orient new hires to SEWB culture; reinforce our mission, vision, and values; and create an early sense of connection and belonging. Lunch is provided.
- Enrollment: New employees are extended invitations to register and attend by email. If you have not received your invitation within the first two weeks of your start date, please contact us.
- Format: These sessions are offered in person only. Session participants are provided with date, time, and location information upon registration.
- Duration: Each session is scheduled for four hours. Please coordinate your schedule with your manager and team accordingly.
- Time: 12 – 4 p.m.
- Frequency: New Hire Orientation sessions are offered twice a year (typically July and January).
New SEWB employees are encouraged to attend the orientation session closest to their start date, but are welcome to attend a later session that works better for their schedule. Please note that SEWB New Hire Orientation sessions are open to new employees in SEWB only. Georgia Tech employees not part of SEWB who want to attend the Institute’s “Welcome to Tech” orientation program should visit the New Employee Onboarding page.
